SINOVUYO sessions made us better decision makers

Achieng Eunice -16-year-old teen studying at great Obbrey Senior Secondary school in Tororo District and a member of Makirokiberi SINO group together with her 4 siblings and parents.

“Before our family joined Makirokiberi SINO group, my mother Aketch Rose and my father could not involve us in decision making. My father could drink alcohol from morning until night and quarrelling and fighting was the order of the day”. This made our mother to run away from home. Our father could not pay school fees in time because he was spending the little he earns on alcohol.  In January 2018, our family was identified by MUCOBADI and enrolled to benefit from SINOVUYO training. The lessons learnt enabled us to develop a saving plan and planning together as a family.  We are involved in decision making as children and our parents live without fights and quarrels.
