Late last week, our PACER team had the pleasure of attending an exhibition at Hotel Africana in Moroto, marking a major milestone: 20 years of Ireland’s development work in the Karamoja region. It was an evening dedicated to the long-standing partnership between Ireland and local stakeholders. For us at MUCOBADI, it was a chance to step back from the day-to-day work and reflect on two decades of progress in the communities we serve.

Grounding the Work in Accountability

A highlight of the event was meeting with the Minister of Ireland, who is currently in the region for a monitoring visit. Seeing leadership on the ground to personally check on the impact of their supported projects reminds us why accountability is so central to everything we do. I

Strength in Collaboration

We want to say a sincere thank you to the Irish Embassy in Uganda for their leadership and hospitality. We also want to recognize the Royal Danish Embassy, whose funding makes our work through the PACER Programme possible, alongside the continued support of the Embassies of Sweden and the Netherlands.
