Our Current Funding Profile

With over 20 years of experience, MUCOBADI has made significant contributions in the areas of health sector accountability, HIV/AIDS, malaria, and TB in Eastern, Central, and Northern regions of Uganda. The organization has established itself as a key player in the development landscape in Uganda, thanks to its comprehensive services, community partnerships, and coordination with various stakeholders.

Currently, MUCOBADI receives funding from four major donors, namely:

  • USAID
  • GOAL/Mastercard Foundation
  • TDH
  • TASO/Global Fund

past grants and partnerships

Positive Action for Children's Fund

MUCOBADI received support from the Positive Action for Children’s Fund, enabling the organization to implement initiatives focused on improving the lives of children affected by HIV/AIDS. This partnership contributed to the organization’s efforts in preventing new HIV infections and providing care and support to vulnerable children.

International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)

IFAD has provided grants and support to MUCOBADI’s agriculture-related initiatives, facilitating sustainable livelihoods and income generation opportunities for rural communities. These programs have focused on enhancing agricultural productivity, promoting market linkages, and empowering smallholder farmers.

Civil Society Fund

MUCOBADI has received grants from the Civil Society Fund, enabling the organization to promote civic engagement, advocacy, and community participation. Through this funding, MUCOBADI has empowered communities to have a voice in decision-making processes, contributing to sustainable development and social change.

Comic Relief

MUCOBADI partnered with Comic Relief, a renowned philanthropic organization, to address pressing issues in the communities it serves. Through this partnership, MUCOBADI implemented innovative programs to tackle challenges such as poverty, inequality, and health disparities.

MSH and JSI

MUCOBADI has collaborated with MSH and JSI, leading global health organizations, to strengthen health systems and improve healthcare service delivery in Uganda. These partnerships have enhanced MUCOBADI’s capacity to address critical health issues, including maternal and child health, infectious diseases, and community-based healthcare.

PATH, World Education/B, RTI, and URC

MUCOBADI has worked in partnership with esteemed organizations like PATH, World Education/B, RTI, and URC to implement various projects across multiple sectors. These collaborations have strengthened MUCOBADI’s technical expertise, knowledge sharing, and program implementation capacity.
