During the January to March quarter, our Young Africa Works program reached and provided essential services to 5,415 young individuals in Acholi and Karamoja subregions, significantly impacting their lives and communities.

A Snapshot of Our Reach
Among the 5,415 youth we served, we are proud to highlight the diversity of our beneficiaries:

• 3,244 (59.9%) females
• 2,171 (40%) males
• 105 (1.9%) persons with disabilities (PWDs)
• 108 (1.9%) refugees

Our comprehensive approach ensured that we reached these young people through various platforms tailored to their unique needs and circumstances.

Platforms and Programs
MUCOBADI utilized multiple platforms to effectively engage and support the youth across six districts. Here is an overview of the different platforms where our youth accessed and received services:

• VSLA Methodology: Empowering youth through Village Savings and Loan Associations.
• Financial Literacy: Equipping young people with essential financial management skills.
• Business Skills Training: Preparing youth for entrepreneurial success.
• Community Conversations (CC) Sessions: Facilitating dialogue and knowledge exchange.
• Safeguarding and Gender Inclusion Messages: Promoting safe and inclusive environments.
• Social Media: Reaching 73 youth through digital platforms.
• Community Conversations: Engaging 837 youth in interactive sessions.
• District Meetings: Involving 19 youth in local governance and decision-making.
• Youth Agro EXPO: Attracting 699 youth to showcase agricultural innovations.
• Youth Linked to PSAs (Public Service Announcements): Informing 1,137 youth through targeted messages.
• Youth-Led Research: Encouraging youth participation in research and data collection.
  Sub-County Meetings: Facilitating local level engagement and discussions.
