MUCOBADI at YouthImpactExpo: Championing Youth Innovation

Last week, MUCOBADI joined the YouthImpactExpo at Skyz Hotel, Naguru, hosted by Restless Development. The Expo celebrates young changemakers driving creative solutions in their communities. We proudly showcased one of our adolescent girls, who crafts beautiful baskets from recycled plastic bottles and dried banana fibers. Her work isn’t just art; it’s a statement about conservation and turning everyday waste into something valuable.

• Growing Our Reach: Being at the Expo put a spotlight on what MUCOBADI stands for—empowering youth and pushing for sustainable change. Our stall got plenty of visitors, all showing genuine interest and respect for the work our young innovator is doing.

  • Mr. Shoripotti, Senior Resource Mobilization Manager, who played a key role in launching our “Global Girls Creating Change” project, was excited to see us represented and thriving.
