Every year on October 5th, the world comes together to celebrate World Teachers’ Day, recognizing the invaluable contributions of educators globally. This day is not only a tribute to the dedication and hard work of teachers but also an acknowledgment of the pivotal role they play in shaping the future. As we commemorate this day, it is essential to highlight the relevance of World Teachers’ Day to the work of organizations like MUCOBADI particularly in their efforts related to WASH, Rights, and Accountability.

By addressing menstrual hygiene practices, MUCOBADI contributes to the well-being and dignity of these girls, ensuring that they are not hindered in their pursuit of education and personal development.

Reducing Violence Through Positive Parenting Education
World Teachers’ Day resonates with MUCOBADI’s efforts to reduce violence against children through positive parenting education. By training 5,660 individuals in positive parenting skills, MUCOBADI is contributing to the creation of safe and nurturing environments for children to learn and grow.

The relevance of World Teachers' Day

World Teachers’ Day is not just a day to honor teachers in traditional classrooms; it is a celebration of education as a force for positive change. MUCOBADI’s multifaceted approach, encompassing WASH initiatives, rights advocacy, and community empowerment, reflects the holistic impact that education can have.
